There Are Sufficent Norms Already: On the Possibility of Amending and Canceling an Amicable Agreement

The article raises the hotly debated topic of whether it is possible to amend or cancel an amicable agreement on the initiative of only one of the parties. In his article on the topic “There Are Sufficent Norms Already: On the Possibility of Amending and Canceling an Amicable Agreement”, Sergey Morozov  considers whether the existing legal toolkit is sufficient to properly govern relations associated with the implementation of amicable agreements, and whether providing a party with the ability to declare the amendment or cancellation of an amicable agreement on the basis of the norms of contract law could lead to this legal construction losing its meaning.
