BEITEN BURKHARDT appoints a total of 11 New Partners from five different areas of competence

Munich, 26 November 2018 – The international commercial law firm BEITEN BURKHARDT promotes Dr Thomas Barthel (Labour Law, Berlin) to Equity Partner as of 1 January 2019.

Another ten Salary Partners were appointed and the salary partnership of ten lateral hires has been confirmed by the partner meeting.

Dr Thomas Barthel advises and represents national and international companies from various industries on all aspects of individual and collective labour law as well as social security law. He focuses on restructurings and collective bargaining negotiations. He also renders advice on labour-law aspects of corporate transactions and assists with proceedings before conciliation boards. Furthermore, Dr Barthel frequently assists clients with all aspects of compliance.

The eleven new partners have their focus in the following areas of competence: Labour Law, Banking, Finance and Capital Markets, Corporate/M&A, IP/IT/Media and Tax. Alongside with our new Equity Partner, these are the new Salary Partners:
