News from Energy transition - Opportunities and challenges

German energy law has undergone a number of changes in recent months. The central project remains the so-called "Energiewende", i.e.,  the sustainable transition to an essentially green energy supply. This is intended to become the driver for energy efficiency, modernisation, innovation and digitalisation in the supply of electricity and heat. In 2024, there will be many opportunities - but also challenges - for companies to participate in the energy transition in Germany.

In cooperation with the CEA (Chinese Enterprises Association in NRW e.V.), ADVANT Beiten's energy lawyers will highlight the most important trends in decentralised energy supply and discuss the resulting opportunities and challenges. This will include information on the European Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), the obligations of companies under the German Energy Efficiency Act (EnEfG), Rooftop PV as a business model and funding opportunities for the use/production of renewable energy.

The event will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 2 p.m. (German time) at the Düsseldorf office of ADVANT Beiten, Cecilienallee 7, 40474 Düsseldorf. The language of the event will be English with Chinese translation. We cordially invite you to attend our seminar and actively participate in the discussions.
